CCAI Announces
Board of Directors
and Officers for
2021 - 2022
The Chemical Coaters Association
International recently announced its
2021-22 National Board of Directors
& Officers at its annual meeting.
CCAI welcomed new board member,
Eric Davis, representing IowaCentral
Illinois.
Davis, of KVF Quad Corporation,
is the current treasurer of the IowaCentral
Illinois Chapter. He has
12 years in the finishing industry,
from sales to service, quality to
production.
" I am honored and excited to
begin helping the National Board
meet and exceed its goals by offering
my input, energy, and abilities, " says
Davis.
Gema's Fernando Garcia Guerrero Retires
Gema is announcing the retirement of Fernando Garcia Guerrero, Business Unit Manager
of Gema Mexico Powder Finishing.
Gema says Guerrero's 39 years of service have been an important part of the success
of the organization. " He has guided our team in Mexico with the pride and integrity
you would expect from a true leader. Under his management, Gema Mexico produced
continuous growth and improved market share. Fernando was instrumental in hiring and
developing strong organizational talent, introducing new products, and strengthening the
image of Gema Mexico within the Central American region, " the company says.
Chris Merritt, General Manager, Gema North America, says, " Having worked with
Fernando for many years I am very proud of the work that has been accomplished in our
partnership together in developing the business. "
Guerrero will be replaced by Carlos Alberto
Montero Luna, who, over the last 15 years, has been an
integral part of the organization with responsibilities in
fabrication, engineering, and sales support, Gema says.
In addition, Jamie Argyelan has been promoted to
Distribution Manager for Gema USA Inc. He will oversee
channel partners, strengthening their performance,
while enhancing the service and sales support provided
to Gema customers. With more than 30 years of industry
experience, Argyelan will be leveraging his knowledge
and skills gained in distribution and OEM sales of
powder coating equipment, Gema says.
