The Importance of Grounding
This presentation will address
the importance of a good ground
in the powder coating process.
Grounding will be discussed
from both safety and quality
perspectives. Learn how a good
ground improves all aspects of
powder coating; transfer efficiency,
Faraday cage penetration, back ionization, and
coating with metallics. The elements of creating a
good ground system will be discussed in detail.
Taping vs. Custom Masking - Turnkey ROI
Before you begin, make the right
decision for your surface finishing
operation. What can you save by
custom masking? This presentation
will conduct a 'mask off' with the
audience using the same part, but
different masking types. There
will be tape/plugs/caps, a custom
plotter cut tape mask and a 3D printed mask.
Attendees will learn how to improve efficiency,
take on more jobs, decrease rework and improve
throughput.
