WATERFRONT Canadian Yachting at the 2016 Miami International Boat Show It was certainly a big change from previous Miami shows as the 2016 Miami International Boat Show opened on February 11th at Miami Marine Stadium Park and Basin. It also marked the 75th anniversary for the Miami show, the largest of the NMMA boat shows in America. For many years, the show had been centered at the Miami Beach Convention Centre in the South Beach area, but changes at that venue required the show to relocate. Held for the first time at the Miami Marine Stadium Park and Basin, the waterfront site was right at home against the backdrop of Biscayne Bay and Miami's sparkling skyline. Show organizers announced that the show recorded 100,279 attendees, up by 4 percent over the 2015 show. Canadian Yachting's John Armstrong and Andy Adams met with many of our key boating industry associates, viewing a number of important new models and also shooting video tours of the new MJM Yachts 50Z, the new Beneteau Swift 30 and the 6 Nick Harvey , President Jeanneau America with Jean Paul Chapeleau, President Jeanneau Prestige World Wide at the American Debut of the Jeanneau Leader.
