If you have never been, be sure to visit nearby world-famous Butchart Gardens. SHORE LEAVE #2 OTTER BAY MARINA, NORTH PENDER ISLAND From Sidney, head north on Swanson Channel to North Pender Island. Once past Mouat Point, you will see the B.C. Ferry terminal ahead and to the right is a rocky point decorated with flags. SHORE LEAVE #3 GANGES HARBOUR, SALT SPRING ISLAND From Otter Bay, head west across Swanson Channel to meet Captain Passage south of Prevost Island. Follow the Salt Spring Island shoreline into Ganges Harbour, which is the Gulf Islands' centre of commerce, tourism and boating activity. The harbour has ample protected anchorage, well-equipped marinas and a f ull complement of marine services and support. We love bustling Ganges village for its diverse shopping, entertainment and dining.
