2010s
Bill Coder ('11) was elected to
serve as the Board President of
Love In the Name of Christ of
Lancaster County (Love INC), a
nonprofit organization that exists
to mobilize local churches to
transform lives and communities
in The Name of Christ. He had
previously served as Board
Secretary. Bill currently serves full-time as a Major Gifts
Officer at LBC | Capital and lives in Mountville, Pa. with
his wife, Cassie ('07), and two sons Linus, 10, and
Simon, 5.
Stephanie A. Schaefer ('12), who received her
Certification in Counseling in 2014, is the owner of
Health from HaShem, a faith-based counseling and
coaching practice, and Sasco Services, LLC., which
specializes in product labeling. She and her husband,
Kimmel, love their 1700s historic homestead built by
Martin Mylin, inventor of the Pa. Long Rifle. They are
excited to have purchased Stephanie's grandfather's
homestead in Elizabethtown, Pa, and are looking to
make some renovations to accommodate some of
Stephanie's businesses.
Brittany N. Smith ('12) accepted a role as Christian
Curriculum Coordinator at Noah's Ark Christian Child
Care Center in Waynesboro, Pa. She is rebuilding
the biblical teaching component of the center and
coaching teachers on how to engage children from
infants through fifth grade with the truth of Scripture.
Stephanie M. (Stutzman
'13) Torres and her husband,
Ozzie, opened a new real estate
company in Lancaster, Pa.-
Contigo Real Estate. After seven
years of experience as a realtor,
Stephanie obtained her broker
license to be able to train and
equip other agents with techniques on how to grow
their businesses and provide excellent service to their
clients. She especially enjoys walking alongside fellow
LBC alumni and friends to help them reach their real
estate goals.
Nicole Valinteno ('14) spent
the past year deployed overseas
in Saudi Arabia with the U.S.
Army Reserves. She served
as the general supervisor of
a major construction project,
resulting in a new base to provide
assistance to the future of the
Army's endeavors against the war on terrorism. While
it was quite the growing opportunity and learning
experience, she is happy to be home with her friends
and family!

Erich ('17) and Mandy L.
(Metzler '20) Carroll welcomed
their first child, a precious son,
Carter James, on Aug. 16, 2022.
Aubree N. (Poole '17) Fahringer
published her first novel titled,
" Sea Glass. " It is a fictional account
of five siblings seeking to make
peace with their tragic past and
with each other. Her hope is
that the theme of " Sea Glass " is
restoration. It's a story of grief,
regret, redemption and, most importantly, the one
chance we are all given to love our families well. " Sea
Glass " is available for purchase on Amazon.
Melissa E. (Futrell '17) Wieters
and her husband, Matthew, are
proud to announce the birth of
their daughter, Eliana Marie, born
Jan. 21, 2023. Eliana is the answer
to many prayers and truly is a
miracle.
Sara (Petersen '18) LaForce
married her husband, Jordan
('17), on Jan. 15, 2023. She is
working as a teacher's aide at
Lititz Christian School.
2020s
Connor Doyle ('22) has enjoyed and excelled in
his new position as a resident caseworker for the
501(c)3 Anchor Lancaster, located in the downtown
area. His responsibilities include assisting a diverse
array of persons with a variety of needs, including
housing, employment, finances and social services,
among numerous other areas. Connor gives thanks
to his family, LBC, Anchor and God for the skills and
opportunities to serve others daily, learn new lessons
and continue living a life well-lived.
Jesse D. Hoffman ('22) has begun working at
Coventry Church in Pottstown, Pa., as associate
pastor. He leads the youth and young adult groups
and helps oversee the church building and members.
