Dr. Paul C. Wilt ('50), 93, passed away June 23, 2022. He grew
up in Altoona, Pa., and studied at then-Lancaster School of
the Bible. He married Doris (Rhine '48) after graduation and
taught at LSB while earning a degree in history from Franklin &
Marshall College. Paul also served as a pastor at Calvary Bible
Church in Hanover, Pa., while continuing his master's degree
studies in history from the University of Delaware, which he
completed in 1958. He went on to complete a doctorate in
history at American University in 1970. In 1958, the family
moved to Santa Barbara, Calif., where Paul taught at Westmont
College for 36 years. He also served in various capacities
at Grace Church (now Shoreline Community Church) and
co-founded Santa Barbara Christian School. Besides Doris,
he is survived by four children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Doris
June (Good '52) Sangrey of New Providence, Pa.,
passed away Dec. 31, 2022. She was a graduate of Manheim
Township High School and a member of Son Light Bible
Church in Lancaster; she also attended Long Memorial United
Methodist and Lititz Church of God. June is survived by two
children, three grandsons and eight great-grandchildren. She
was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Kenneth.
Elsie Marie (Chaffin '60) Herr, 84, of New Holland, Pa., went
home to be with the Lord on Dec. 1, 2022. She was first
married to David R. Hess for over 32 years until his death,
then married Martin R. Herr. Marie was a member of Word of
Life Chapel, Bainbridge, and a graduate of Lancaster School
of Nursing. While at LBC, she was active in the Cross Paths
program and helped start the Single Adult Christian Fellowship
group. In addition to Martin, she is survived by her two
daughters, two stepdaughters, nine grandchildren, one
great-granddaughter, two sisters and two brothers.
Charles L. " Chuck " Musser (attended 1961-63), 80, of
Lebanon, Pa., went to be with Jesus on Feb. 2, 2023. The
husband of Judy (De La Mater '64), Chuck graduated from
Watertown (Wis.) High School in 1960 and was a member of
Grace Point Church in Palmyra, Pa. In addition to his wife, he is
survived by three daughters, five grandchildren and his sister.
Harry J. Perkins ('74), 79, went home to be with his Lord
on Feb. 9, 2023. He was the husband of the late Janet L.
Perkins, who passed away in 2020. Harry's faith in Jesus
was the cornerstone of his life, and he was a member of
Calvary Church for over 30 years. He also worked as an
HVAC technician for Weis Markets. Harry is survived by two
daughters, two grandchildren, four siblings and many nieces
and nephews.
Melody (Keener WBC '78) Howard, 66, of Pasadena, Md.,
passed away Dec. 17, 2022. Melody met her husband Buddy
(WBC '77 & '80) at Washington Bible College while completing
a bachelor's degree in child education. After Buddy completed
seminary, they relocated to Anne Arundel County, Md., and
lived in various towns before settling permanently in Pasadena.
Melody first worked in the accounting department at Surgical
Specialties and then FutureCare for over 25 years as an
accounts payable clerk. She is survived by her husband, son,
daughter and grandsons as well as her brother, three sisters
and numerous nieces and nephews of several generations.

Larry A. Grim ('79), 84, of Temple, Pa., passed away Nov. 18,
2022. He was married to the late Kathryn A. (Morganti) Grim
and served in the Army Reserve. He was employed for many
years for Western Electric, which later became AT&T, and
retired in 1998. He was a member of Trinity Bible Fellowship
Church in Blandon, Pa. He is survived by five children, three
granddaughters and a great-grandson. Two children preceded
him in death.
Edna (Siegrist '79) Kliewer of Lancaster, Pa., was called home
to heaven on Jan. 24, 2023. She was the wife of Donald H.
Kliewer. After graduating from Manheim Central High School
and earning her master's degree in education at Millersville
University, Edna taught elementary level classes at several
Lancaster County schools and also spent two years at a school
in Brazil. Since 1970, Edna had been an active member of
Calvary Church, where she taught in the primary department,
served on various committees and sang in the choir. Edna
is survived by three siblings, sister-in-law Linda (Savage '75)
Siegrist, four nephews, three nieces, 21 great-nephews and
nieces, one stepson, two step-granddaughters and six greatstep-grandchildren.
Sena
Patricia " Pat " Spiers-DiPaola ('98), 87, of Oxford, Pa.,
passed away peacefully on Feb. 22, 2023. She grew up in
Hicksville, N.Y., before moving to Broomall, Pa., with her late
first husband of 39 years. It was here in 1965 that she became
a born-again Christian and shortly after began teaching her
first Bible study. After her two girls were grown, she became
a math instructor at Pennsylvania Institute of Technology. Pat
volunteered and served the Lord through various ministries
and churches. Most recently, she attended Union Presbyterian,
where she taught Sunday school and led Bible studies. She is
survived by two daughters, two sons-in-law, six grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her first husband, Thomas M. Spiers, and her second husband,
Frank DiPaola.
Grant T. Elliott ('99), 51, of Williamstown, N.J., passed away
April 2, 2022. Grant loved science fiction and his passion for
" Star Wars " was unmatched. He also loved sports, especially the
Phillies and the Eagles. His faith and deep understanding of the
Bible inspired many. Grant was also passionate about politics
and believed a better world was possible. He graduated from
Hatfield Biblical Theological Seminary, loved to travel and had
a special place in his heart for Maine, where he spent time with
his family.
Rev. Garret N. Plitt ('18), 27, of Lindley, N.Y., passed away March
5, 2023. Garrett was a beloved pastor, brother, son, grandson
and friend who wanted everyone to know the gospel of
Jesus. He graduated from South Western High School in
Hanover, Pa., before earning a Church Leadership degree
from LBC. He counted the times with his friends at college
as some of the best years of his life. Garrett taught classes
at Carroll Christian Academy in Westminster, Md., for a year,
then was called to be a pastor at Lindley Community Church
in Lindley, N.Y. There, Garrett served the community by coleading
a basketball ministry for kids at neighboring Tuscarora
Baptist Church, by volunteering as a chaplain for the local fire
department and by assisting local food pantry and clothing
outreaches. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his
