This humorous adaptation of Hans Christian
Andersen's 1835 fairy tale " The Princess and the Pea "
has endured on stages of all kinds for 65 years. With
quirky characters, catchy songs and royal intrigue,
" Once Upon a Mattress " spins a tale where finding
a true princess proves to be more challenging than

A Musical Theatre Student-Led Production

The Trust Black Box Theatre
LBC students take the lead in every aspect of this
production, from acting, singing, directing and
costumes to props, light design, sound and tech.
Students will have the opportunity to work with
singer, composer, Sight & Sound Theatres writer and
LBC Adjunct Professor Kristen Brewer for " SEEN: In
the Line " to tell the stories of the women of the Bible
in the line of Jesus through original song.
