Golfer Jake Rotelle shattered
his own 18-hole record with a
67 (5 under par with 6 birdies)
at the Battle at Berkleigh hosted
by Kutztown University on Sept.
26. Rotelle held the previous
record as well-a 71 at the
United East Championships
in April 2023.

his is just some of the hardware Jake Rotelle ('25) has acquired in just over two years
as a student-athlete at Lancaster Bible College.
Even more impressive than his early accomplishments is the fact that Rotelle only started
playing organized sports when he arrived on LBC's campus-the first time learning a rotation
on the volleyball court, the first time being a part of a golf team and the first time playing
over several games in a season.
Rotelle came to LBC from Terre Hill Mennonite High School in Terre Hill, Pa., to study
Business Administration and dip his hand into organized sports. Originally looking to play
only volleyball, Rotelle joined the early-blooming golf team late in his freshman year, and
the rest is history. Rotelle is a Chargers record-holder in golf and a two-time All-Conference
