LBC Online Growth, 2019-2024
Brian Casto ('25) is an online Biblical Studies major from Williamstown, N.J., but
his responsibilities include much more than earning a bachelor's degree. Brian is
also a father of six who works full time and also serves part time as a pastor.
Amid all his commitments and responsibilities, Brian has been intentional about
time management and balance with the help of a strong support system. He's
enjoyed the sense of community that's present in the virtual setting, both
among faculty and fellow students.
" The courses are thoughtfully designed to develop a deep engagement with
biblical content, and the interactions with professors have been enriching and
impactful, " Brian shares. " This combination of academic rigor and relational
support has made my experience truly rewarding, and I'm grateful that it
accommodates the demands of life's many challenges while still pursuing higher
education. "
Once he's earned his degree, Brian hopes to continue in a seminary program,
planning to use his education to " develop discipleship programs that engage
believers more deeply with the Word
of God " and " mentor future church leaders " as well as pass down a " solid spiritual and
educational legacy to my six children. "
