Dr. Amy Sagen, a new Assistant Professor in the Master of Social Work Program, has a passion for teaching macro and
policy social work courses as well as aging classes and mentoring interns. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science
in Rehabilitation Education with a minor in Gerontology from The Pennsylvania State University, her Master of Social
Work/Master of Science in Gerontology from the University of Southern California and her Doctor of Social Work from
Kutztown/Millersville Universities with a dissertation focusing on Interprofessional Education. She has worked in hospice,
directed Alzheimer's units in a skilled nursing facility and most recently spent 15 years with the National Association of
Social Workers.
New Staff
Within the Physical Plant Department, Kevin McFadden is the new Grounds Manager, Alex Wardell is the new
Mechanic & Equipment Operator, and Carlos Vazquez has joined the team as a Facilities Technician.
Cheryl Perez and Maria Russo joined the Financial Aid team as Financial Aid Coordinators, and Alec Smith is the new
Payroll Coordinator in the Business Office. Danielle DeVinney ('19) has also joined Retail Services as the Retail Services
Coordinator.
Charlene Cuomo is the new Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Traditional Undergraduate Education, Samantha
Ryan is the new Executive Assistant to the Provost, Amy Smith is the new Executive Assistant to the Vice President for
Institutional Alignment, Dana Sick is the new Department Assistant for Church & Ministry Leadership, Beth Steele is a new
Department Assistant for Business Administration, and Madison Richwine is the new Department Assistant in Student
Success.
Several new staff joined the Global Education team: Janell Magnant and Kara Ruckman are new Global Admissions
Counselors, Tashyra Ayers ('24) is a new Global Enrollment Recruiter, and Hattye " Melissa " Manuel is a Global Student
Success Coach.
Stephanie (Ehko '20) Brussel is a new Admissions Counselor, and Josh Fulmer ('18) is a new Admissions Recruiter.
Derek Melleby is the new Director of Calling & Career, and Tyler Webb is the new Director of Student Care on the
Student Success team. Emily " EJ " (Sensenig '22) McFarland has also joined Student Affairs as the new Office Coordinator,
while Brittany Ober ('17) and Brittany Stoltzfus ('22) are new counselors in the Counseling & Care Center.
Chantelle Patschke has joined the Ally Center as the ESL /Student Support Specialist, and Kristin Sauve is a new Student
Support Specialist on the Solution Center team.
Miriam Pinheiro has rejoined the team in Washington, D.C., as an Enrollment Support Specialist & Receptionist.
Staff News
Mary Poole is now serving as the Global Enrollment Support Specialist in the Registrar's Office.
Yolanda Marks is the new Global Administrative Coordinator in Philadelphia.
Shanika Churchville has been promoted to the Ally Center Director, Camille Bellino is the new Academic Mentoring
Services Coordinator in the Ally Center, and Dr. Rhonda McClenton transitioned to a new role: Associate Director for the
Ally Center.
Matt Day ('14 & '21) is now an Assistant Director of Public Safety.
Andrew Huber ('20) is a new Instructional Technologist Level 2, and Robin Jeffers is a new Instructional Designer Level 2
in the Office of Digital Learning.
Rosie Lammey is the new Director of Financial Aid.
Dr. Mark Menga is now the Communications & Media Arts Global Programs Coordinator.
Dwight Shelly ('13) is the new Director of Discipleship in Student Affairs.
Katie Sugden ('18) is now serving as an Admissions Counselor.
Betsy Swartz is now a Systems Engineer in Information Services.
Dr. Esther Zimmerman ('19) is the Church & Ministry Department Chair after serving in an interim role.
