MEN'S SOCCER
The men's soccer program appeared in the United East
Conference Final in 2021, but for the third time in program
history, came up just short, falling to Penn State Harrisburg,
3-1. The Chargers return a large part of last season's team
for 2022, including standouts Kedric Yoder ('22) and Nate
Muckle ('22). After beginning the 2022 season with five
straight road games, the Chargers will host nine of their
final 13 games, including St. Mary's (Md.) on Homecoming
Saturday, Sept. 24, and on Oct. 12 when LBC hosts
crosstown foe Franklin & Marshall at 7 p.m.
WOMEN'S SOCCER
The women's soccer program advanced to the United
East Conference Playoffs for the 10th consecutive season
in 2021, but lost to top-seeded Penn State Harrisburg, 3-0,
in the conference semifinals. The Chargers will look to
make yet another appearance in the conference playoffs
this season, as leading scorers Kendal Ream ('23) and
Kara Huber ('23) return. In addition to their Homecoming
Saturday contest against St. Mary's (Md.), the Chargers will
also host Moravian on Oct. 19 at 7 p.m., as well as four
other United East Conference opponents.
WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
The women's volleyball team tied for fourth place in last
season's United East Conference standings but missed out
on the conference playoffs thanks to a tie-breaker. The
Chargers will look to avoid that situation in 2022, as setter
Faith Helman ('23) and Chloe King ('23) return for their
senior seasons. LBC hosts Lancaster County neighbor
Elizabethtown on Sept. 27 and welcomes Gallaudet and
SUNY Morrisville for a tri-match on Oct. 15.
