hristopher Bulea ('21) is a graduate of LBC | Capital's Master of Arts in Contextualized
Pastoral Ministry program in partnership with the Pastors Discipleship Network (PDN) in
Uganda. Today, Bulea is part of Truth Evangelistic Fountain Ministries Inc., specifically in a
church in the Arua region of Uganda. Below are excerpts of a letter written to Robert Blanks,
Master of Arts in Contextualized Pastoral Ministry Program Director and LBC-PDN Liaison, about
the impact of Bulea's LBC | Capital education.
Thank God for PDN, and thank God for LBC | Capital. I am greatly indebted to you, PDN, LBC and
incomparably to God for all that has taken place in my life over the years while together. To God
be the glory and honor forever for what He has done beyond the comprehension of a man and
giving me this victory, which now is evident.
COVID-19 has been a big interruption globally, but let me share one positive that I experienced
as a result of the COVID. The Lord permitted COVID-19 to be an interruption to the extent
that my cohort was delayed for a full year before they could officially graduate so that I had
enough time to be able to catch up with them for graduation. This is the God that we serve! I
remembered a Scripture in Romans 8:27-28: " And he who searches our hearts knows the mind
of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes on behalf of the saints according to God's will. And we
know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according
to his purpose. " I am blessed.
Please thank the churches, individuals and others who supported me in this journey to the very
end, even when I did not seem to be a promising student. I request prayers for God's leadership
in all that I do to enrich the kingdom of God. I know that the devil does not give up and because
there are signs of his interest to frustrate me in this mission. May God's hands always prevail and
give me success in my ambitions in (these) areas:
* To groom the church that I lead in the Word of God because we are living in wicked days
where the fear of God is never a priority.
* To set up a child support center that can be a base to help the numerous orphans and needy
children in the community.
* To have a means to do ministry in the refugee camps because there is a great need for the
gospel, particularly to the young people who have become unruly and are engaging in bad
practices like drugs and alcohol. This needs a team to work.
I have realized that you have not just been my professor, but God introduced you to me at a
point when I needed help most. I remember the visit to Koboko, West Nile, when you invited
me and my family, fed us and bought honey from us. You helped me throughout the course to
come out of the most difficult times when I was at the verge of giving up. You have loved my
family dearly, evidenced by the fact that you have never ceased to extend warm love to them.
Thanks very much, and we will always pray with you that God continuously preserves your life
to continue serving God's people through LBC | Capital.
