An overarching view of the inauguration ceremony. At the center is the
Rev. Luke Donald Le Duc, MTh, Senior Pastor of Wheatland Presbyterian
Church in Lancaster. His participation in the inauguration symbolized the
emphasis on local church ministry by LBC | Capital and President Kiedis.
The Kiedises joyfully embrace Wheatland as their church home.
Dr. Ed Stetzer-Professor, Dean, Executive Director
of the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College,
church planter, author, radio host and longtime
friend of Dr. Kiedis-gives the inaugural keynote
address.
Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees Michael W. Van
Belle and President Emeritus Dr. Peter W. Teague take
part of the investiture ceremony of LBC | Capital's
sixth president, Dr. Thomas L. Kiedis.
During his inaugural response, Dr. Kiedis holds the Bible
belonging to past LBC President Dr. Gilbert A. Peterson while
recounting the words of one of his mentors at Mid-South
Bible College. The Rev. Paul Davidson often asked, " Will you
stand over the Bible or will the Bible stand over you? "
