Livermush? Is it a plant? Is it an

This longtime southern favorite
food made of pig liver and other

June at the Livermush Festival in

HOMEMADE GRAHAM CRACKERS
Ingredients:
1 ¾ cups whole-wheat flour
½ cup cake flour
1 tsp each baking soda, salt, cinammon
½ cup lightly packed brown sugar
½ cup unsalted butter at room temperature
½ cup honey
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
¼ cup water
Directions:
Mix the flours, baking soda, salt and cinnamon on
low speed. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix
on medium-low speed until just evenly combined.
Form 2 rectangles ½ inch thick. Wrap in plastic and
refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350°.
On a lightly floured surface roll each piece of dough
into a 10 by 13-inch rectangle, about 1/8-inch thick.
Transfer onto a baking sheet. Pierce with a fork all
over and score into crackers. Bake 18 minutes, or
until golden brown and dry. Cool on baking sheet,
then break apart and store in an airtight container.
