LOVE ACROSS THE CONTINENTS
Sydney Hale and Igor Budysheva first met in
Italy at the hotel he was working at in June 2018.
Sydney was on vacation with her best friend,
and she and Igor often laugh that it was love at
first sight, and they were truly destined to meet,
given their backgrounds and being from different
countries. Once Sydney worked up the courage to
talk to him (and get past the language barriers),
they were practically inseparable, leading to a
long-distance romance.
Igor proposed six months after they met in
Italy, on the Rialto Bridge, technically only their
second time together since meeting. Sydney
admits some might say it's crazy, but " when you
know, you know! "

FOREVER TOGETHER (FINALLY)
The couple first married in Italy; two days after,
Sydney went back to the US, where she and Igor
didn't see each other for a year due to travel
restrictions. He finally arrived in America for
the first time in his life an entire year after their
marriage!
Sydney owns her own vintage home decor
store, and wanted to incorporate bits and pieces
of thrifting over the years into her boho theme,
highlighted by light pinks and dusty rose colors,
mixed with antique brass candlestick holders and
vases, and showcase their love of travel with photos
and music. Sydney is a big lover of pampas grass
and dried florals, so her mother, a florist, made
her florals. The food and cake were also made by
a family friend who is practically a second mother
to her. " Something I loved so much about my
wedding is that all the details were put together
by those who mean the most to me! "
LOVE OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Given the COVID restrictions, their long-distance
love and how long it took to celebrate their
marriage, Sydney and Igor say their favorite
memory was simply having everyone they loved
in the same place at the same time.
" After not being able to see everyone or have
anyone meet Igor prior to the big day, the only
thing I truly cared about was seeing all those loved
ones' faces and letting them see everything in Igor
that I had seen since day one. "
