JUST THE TWO OF US
Like many other couples, Yanishia Gonzalez and
Trevor Myers met each other through Facebook.
They both found it funny at the chance meeting,
as they both lived in Pearisburg and had for many
years without ever meeting previously!
While Trevor had initally considered planning
something elaborate with a photographer or
somewhere else to capture the moment, he opted
for a romantic moment between the two of them
on the back porch. " We knew right away what
we wanted and made it happen, " he says.
AUTUMN INSPIRATION
Their autumn wedding day was made even more
magical as the couple both love the fall season.

The venue was extra special to them, as Sinkland
Farms is also the spot where they had their very
first date. Their fall decor included gorgeous
florals in their ceremony arch, centerpieces,
bride and groom's reception table, plus orange
and white pumpkins and a bold color palette.
Yanishia's bridesmaids wore long red dresses,
which contrasted well against the groomsmen's
dark blue suits and red ties (with Trevor in a
white bowtie).
Yanishia and Trevor are most grateful to the
people who were able to share in their special
day together. Trevor says their reception was
an absolute blast, " even though we remember
very little of it! " He says the entire mood of
the wedding day was very relaxed, which made
everything easier - and kept them from crying
too much! They also appreciated the diversity
at the wedding, as the people they are closest to
are " from all walks of life. "
ALWAYS HAVE EACH OTHER
Guests enjoyed catering from a nearby local
restaurant, took home personalized koozies
and sent off the newlyweds with a sparkler exit.
Yanishia and Trevor agree that their favorite
memory of the day was their last dance of the
night. " Everyone was leaving and it was just us
in there dancing alone, and it made us feel good
- even though people will be there through your
life, not everyone will stick with you to the end,
and that's exactly what we got. "
