FROM HIGH SCHOOL TO FOREVER
Chloe Phillips and Trevan Via are high school
sweethearts. They knew each other was " the one "
from the beginning, and Trevan proposed to
Chloe at her twenty-first birthday party.
MAGICAL MOOD LIGHTING
Chloe wanted an elegant, moody theme for their
wedding day, opting for colors of rust, emerald,
navy, mustard-yellow and brown. Their October
day featured incredible florals to match, not only
as boutonnières, but also beautifully plaited in
Chloe's hair, with pops of orange and green to
match the palette. Her bridesmaids wore long
gowns in different colors that paired well with
the groomsmen's dark blue suits and brown

shoes. Decor included vintage trunks, a canoe
and paddle with blankets and picnic basket, and
tall centerpieces that held candles, as well as tall
chandelier stands with lit candlesticks; as the
evening continued beneath the clear tent, the
candles and lighting added a magical ambience
to set the mood.
Chloe made the ceremony arch herself, building
it from bamboo that grows along the river that
flows through their gorgeous family-owned
property. Guests sat on wooden benches while
flower petals lined the aisle. She and Trevan also
honored loved ones with their " family tree, "
where they hung up framed photos on actual
trees, showing off their family members' own
wedding days.
A MOMENT TO APPRECIATE
Guests enjoyed a Southern dinner that included
smoky mountain meatballs and jalapeno cheese
sausage. They were also able to enjoy the cigar
bar set up by the couple! The dance floor stayed
packed all night, and Chloe had to get in on the
fun when " Thriller " and " YMCA " came on. When
the party was nearly over, guests bid the couple
farewell in a fabulous sparkler exit.
Chloe recalls her favorite wedding day memory
as the moment she finally got to sit down at the
sweetheart table with her new husband and they
had a moment together to enjoy the festivities.
" It was the first time I had gotten to see all of the
decorations and thousands of lights my mother
worked so hard to hang up! "
