GROWING TOGETHER
Christa Hawley and Hunter Hartman have
known each other for years, having grown up
together. For his proposal, Hunter waited to
pop the question while on vacation at Emerald
Isle, North Carolina, choosing a special moment
together on the beach to ask Christa to be his wife.
NATURAL BEAUTY PROVIDES
The couple chose an outdoorsy theme for their
wedding day, as they both love being outside.
Christa was especially excited about their unique
venue, with the Arthur Taubman Center nestled
inside Explore Park, where natural beauty provided
a scenic backdrop, and included a deck to admire
the splendor. Their colors of hunter green, gold

and white were displayed in the bridesmaids'
beautiful gowns, pairing with the groomsmen's
green ties with gray suits. Christa wore adorable
white flat sandals with her gown, and white
daisies and roses with pops of greenery made
up her bridal bouquet. She says her florist did
" an amazing job bringing everything to life. "
Their ceremony took place right in front of
the center, with rustic barrels on either side. The
newlyweds also made sure to steal a few moments
together after the ceremony for gorgeous fall
photos in the Blue Ridge Mountains, surrounded
by autumn colors.
PERFECT MOMENT FOR SUNSHINE
Christa says her favorite memory of the day by
far was walking out to see her husband for the
first day. It had rained on and off throughout
the day, but as soon as she walked outside to
meet him, the sun came out, creating a perfect
moment to reflect and appreciate. Guests were
able to enjoy delicious Southern staples, along
with a cake with their cute cake topper depicting
their love of the mountains, outdoors and dogs!
" The cake was absolutely beautiful and just
looking at it throughout the night made my day! "
She also credits their DJ for great music and
entertainment, as he made sure to keep the guests
out on the dance floor. " He made the reception
so fun! " Christa says. Guests waved goodbye
to the newlyweds during their exit with fun
colorful sparklers.
