IT WAS ALWAYS YOU
Lyndsay Talbott first met Brandon Wells at a high
school graduation party. She was about to start
college, wanting to go in with a clean slate, but
as soon as she and Brandon met, it all changed.
Instead, they dated long distance throughout
college and have been together ever since.
Brandon chose a simple and sweet romantic
moment for his proposal, asking Lyndsay to
marry him while together on his parents' front
porch under the stars.
A LOVE LIKE THE MOVIES
As Lyndsay previously worked in the wedding
industry, she was intent on a unique day that
felt like " them. " Because they love movies, the

couple opted for a movie-themed wedding,
marrying in a beautiful historic theater built
in the 1930s. Outside the theater are four glass
frames to showcase posters, and Lyndsay replaced
them with movie posters with her and Brandon
photoshopped in! Guests signed the posters at
the reception in lieu of a traditional guestbook.
Each table was themed to a different movie
franchise, with a framed movie poster, prop,
flowers and a film reel. Lyndsay says people loved
visiting each table to see the details of individual
centerpieces! She also created her own florals,
using wood flowers, book pages from her favorite
titles, including " Pride and Prejudice " and fabric
flowers particularly special to her as she used her
grandmother's brooches to decorate the centers.
AND THE AWARD GOES TO...
The film fun continued as their reception
announcements included Oscar trophies for
the wedding party, for categories like " Longest
Friendship " and " Best Roommate. " It was only
fitting that Lyndsay and Brandon were awarded
" Best Actor and Actress in a Romantic Comedy! "
Lyndsay's favorite memory took place after
the ceremony, where about 40 family members
gathered in the theater lobby to enjoy a flavored
popcorn bar and specialty beer brewed by her
uncle. " It was so lovely to mingle with everyone
and relax instead of rushing away for pictures, "
she says. " We were so happy to have that private
time with our family and bridal party before the
reception with 150 people! "
