AN IMMEDIATE MATCH
Only a few hours after joining a dating app,
Madeline Potts received a cute, witty message
from Matt Hornsby, going out on their first
date a week later. Madi says she'll never forget
how much fun she had from easy conversation
and lots of laughter.
One of their early dates hiking up to Bald
Knob inspired Matt's proposal. After reaching
the overlook on a beautiful February day, Madi
took a few photos of the view, turning to find
Matt on one knee and ring box in hand.
FIRST DAY OF FOREVER
The newlyweds reflect fondly on their ceremony,
where a friend of theirs acted as officiant and
Madi's younger sister, Emma, sang the Lord's
Prayer. It was also the first moment Madi and Matt
saw each other. Her colors and florals came out
exactly as she had envisioned, and feels fortunate
to have friends who helped them with so much,
including their photography and videography.
" It was incredible having several talented friends
be willing to contribute to our day. It made our
wedding extra special to us, " she says.
Madi treasures the entire day dedicated to
their marriage with the people they love most.
From getting ready with the women in her life
who mean the most to her, to the reception filled
with fellowship, great food and fun moments
they will never forget, Madi and Matt say it was
a truly perfect day.
