BLIND DATE BLISS
Macy Phillips and Alexander Tepper sparked a
connection almost immediately after meeting
one another for the first time on a blind date at
Radford University.
Alex kept the entire proposal a surprise. On
a beautiful evening, he brought Macy up to the
top of Center in the Square and got down on
one knee. She was thrilled to say yes to the man
of her dreams. Shortly after, the couple headed
to Big Lick Brewing Company where their sweet
parents threw them a party to celebrate.
CHIC & STYLISH
The first thing Macy selected for the wedding
was her show-stopping, off-the-shoulder mermaid

dress. After checking that off the list, she and
her mom went to work planning almost all of
the other details out themselves.
Ivy Rose Barn " was the perfect setting " for
Macy and Alex's coastal chic theme. Blue and
white chinoiserie vases filled with classic all-white
flowers accompanied by matching china gave their
reception tables a sophisticated look. Another
statement piece was their elegant, five-tiered vanilla
cake filled with luscious layers of raspberry jam,
lemon curd and buttercream frosting.
FUN WITH FAMILY
Being able to share their big day with those they
love most made it that much more special. The
flower girl - Macy's darling grandmother -
was all smiles as she tossed white petals while
making her way down the aisle. A string trio
began playing " Can't Help Falling in Love " as
the glowing bride followed suit. Macy's dad's best
friend did an amazing job officiating the entire
heartfelt ceremony, leaving everyone in attendance
laughing and teary-eyed at the same time!
Alex and Macy both have fond memories of
living it up on the dance floor after the ceremony
with their closest friends and family. The whole
crowd hooted and hollered when the pair's dads,
both named Jeff, put on their matching tuxedo
T-shirts halfway through the reception. The
newlyweds exited the venue at the end of the
day surrounded by love as their guests waved
sparklers and shouted out their congratulations.
