A MOMENT JUST FOR US
Veronica Tuttle and William Fabrie first met
in Salem. They were both working at Mac and
Bob's where she was a hostess and waitress and
he was a food runner.
In July of 2022, they took a trip to Virginia
Beach to see the Dave Matthews Band in concert.
On the evening of the show, Will, too excited
to wait any longer while also wanting to avoid
a clichéd concert proposal, popped the question
in their hotel room. " Fortunately, it worked
out! " he says.
MADE WITH LOVE
William and Veronica's lowkey celebration was
perfect. They were married in an intimate ceremony
60 | REAL WEDDINGS
and had delicious chocolate favors made for the
small group of friends and family in attendance.
The couple and their loved ones DIYed many
of the other details. Will's mom helped with
planning, Veronica put her bouquet together
herself and the centerpieces were handmade to
match their colors of lavender and gold. Her
father made the food, and a friend from the
pair's church did an amazing job serving as DJ.
The newlyweds' favorite memory is their first
dance to " One Woman, " by Randy Rogers Band.
It started raining part way through, so they ran
inside and picked up right where they left off,
the biggest smiles on their faces for the rest of the
song. They decided to view the disruption as an
unexpected but appreciated sign of good luck!
