Tell us about your business.
We are a full-service meeting and event planning company that also
specializes in corporate incentive travel programs.
How did your career path lead you to your current position?
I'm a people pleaser by nature and found that planning events gave
me the opportunity to address specific needs of the client while
building ongoing relationships. I've done everything from managing
farm shows to hosting Fortune 500 companies on luxury yachts in
the Caribbean. I love the preparation leading up to an event, along
with the controlled chaos and excitement that comes from the event
execution. Seeing the attendees enjoy themselves while helping the
client build their brand is extremely satisfying.
What specific products or services do you offer?
We focus primarily on corporate, governmental and non-profit
organizations. We can handle the end-to-end planning and execution
of annual meetings, product launches and other functions that range
from dozens to hundreds of attendees. We also manage incentive
programs for corporate clients looking to reward high performing
sales teams or customers at exotic destinations around the world.
In some cases, we will perform just a portion of an overall program,
such as the onsite management, if the client just needs specific help.
Ultimately, it's important to listen to our clients needs and offer
creative solutions that will wow their target audience and meet their
budget and specific requirements.
What gets you out of bed and ready to run for the day?
No event is, or should be, the same. Even if it's an annual meeting
that's been long-standing for years, there's always an opportunity to
do something new and creative. If it's not memorable, then the client's
and their attendees' time and money was wasted. More importantly, we
missed an opportunity to elevate their brand. I also love incorporating
the " little things " into a program. At one event, we brought in local
artisans to display their wares in a beautiful beachside setting. All the
attendees were provided vouchers to redeem towards buying crafts
which ultimately supported local small businesses in the area and gave
the attendees a unique memento to take home. Everyone loved it!

What does it mean to you to be a woman leading your business in its industry?
The event planning industry is a very inclusive one in which many of
my peers are women. I'm very proud to have had the chance to start
my own business after years of working for and learning from other
successful women. At the end of the day though, I just want to be
seen as a trusted partner for clients with whom I have shared values
and aligned goals.
