La seconde méthode consiste à utiliser les points de base : la valeur de
l'option représente x points de base de la devise cotée au certain ou cotée
à l'incertain. L'avantage de ce mode de cotation est de pouvoir permettre
de déterminer immédiatement le point mort de la structure par rapport à
l'option :

Quelle que soit la méthode retenue pour exprimer le prix d'une option de
change, la valeur est bien évidemment identique. Le phénomène inverse
provoquerait un arbitrage instantané ou favoriserait un modèle par rapport
aux autres.
