In regard to working time and work intensity, the results of the survey also show
several differences throughout the 23 judicial district courts. Specific courts occupy
lower and higher positions, but the analysis does not convey existing variations
within each court, with its multiple buildings spread over different locations.
Nevertheless, as shown by previous findings,54 different results have multiple
causes, which requires an in-depth study of each separate judicial district court
(Figures 6 and 7). In the selected case studies, the majority of the variations were
based on the differences of each building occupied by court services. Therefore,
taken into consideration that each judicial district court occupies several buildings,
their working conditions can vary widely, producing different results. Additionally,
the distribution of human resources and workload, throughout the judicial district
courts, is the other main factors that contribute to a variety of results.

The results regarding working time and work intensity across other dimensions-
years in the profession and areas of legal practice of interviewees-do not provide
novel information, as they show that, at an early stage of the career, working time
is slightly higher (the opposite being the case at more advanced stages in the
career). Work intensity remains stable, although marginally higher after 26 years
in the profession. The differences between professions remain similar, as explained
above. The differences observed in the professions' specific areas of legal practice
are also minor. Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning that the criminal area scores
slightly higher with regard to working time and work intensity, while these scores
