eam to Summit The poster (far left) displays various concepts that the Cycling Studies Minor, the Cycling Team, and the school focus on: advocacy, bikes and community. This year was the fourth time the Cycling Studies Minor has brought its students to participate in the League's National Bike Summit. This year in attendance beside Jack Perry of Massachusetts, was Will Harden and Cole Kraft of North Carolina and Josh Cady of South Carolina. Each student fully participated in the Summit including lobby day and met with one of the League's idols, U.S. Representative Earl Blumenauer. (top) An exciting moment occurred during our poster session in the Rayburn Foyer following our meeting with our representative's staff. U.S. Representative Virginia Foxx, made a surprise visit and graciously posed for a photo with us. (bottom) These opportunities proved to be an enlightening and valuable learning experience to our students through their time spent in the Bicycle Friendly University workshops as well as poster and networking sessions.
