30 Years Ago (1992)
Woody wrote an article about the Road Atlanta Driver's school, it was reported
he took FTD in the autocross super stock class driving his E30 325is, his
contact information was posted for DIY events, driving schools and other
activities, it was announced that he would be handling driving school
registration for the next year, and he also penned his regular Woody's
" Competition Corner " column for the magazine. And that's just what was
mentioned in the January-February issue of dB. Woody was a busy guy!
26 Years Ago (1996)
Woody's favorite O'Fest! It was hosted and planned by the National Capital
Chapter and he was the treasurer for the event. He also won a Z3! He wrote
an article covering the event, " The Best, Wort, and Otherwise at O'Fest '96 " .
He wrote the, " best things about this or any other O'Fest: The people, the
events, the cars. "
20 Years Ago (2002)
Woody planned and organized a number of Tours and Driver's Schools. He
had multiple podium finishes for both BMW and SCCA autocrosses as
reported in his continuing Competition Corner column.
15 Years Ago (2007)
Woody's first " A Look Back " column is printed in the May-June 2007 issue.
He wrote, " At the risk of validating my son's accusation that I am living in
the past, here is what may be a regular presentation on random items that
appeared in previous issues of der Bayerische. Remember, before there was
an internet, message boards, and mass emails, der Bayerische was the
chapter's sole means of communicating news and information to members. "
10 Years Ago (2012) - Present
The " A Look Back " series continues and Woody is active in many NCC and
CCA events.

national recognition 40 years
in the making! The club wouldn't be
