with you in the car! Gordon and I
kept working through the goals we
would discuss before each session
and debrief afterwards.
On the second day of the weekend,
you definitely feel exhaustion
creeping in - especially if you don't
do this often. With that said, make
sure you are well rested and are
keeping up on your nutrition.
I typically have some snacks with me
and plenty of water bottles. Sunday,
I picked up where I left off and started
working with Matt on improving
pace. Hitting the track in stride, I
was able to show Matt where we left
off with Gordon and he was able to
quickly identify areas for improvement.
We were able to unlock a lot
more pace by getting on power
sooner into turn 10 through turn 12
straights. At this point, I really start10
ed
to enjoy the technical nature of
Jefferson circuit - it helped me work
on my throttle and steering inputs as
well as getting more comfortable
marked on my calendars - the group
has a great culture of safety, professionalism,
and comradery. I hope to
see you on the track at the next
Insurance, and OG Racing. Without
our sponsors it would be very
difficult and more expensive to hold
our track events.
