With today's vehicle and smart phone navigation systems, you can follow the spirit of the Chuck Berry song, " No particular place to go " . Along the Autobahn, there are signs that mark the exits for places of interest. It is well worth your time to be curious. Once you arrive at your destination city, leave your car parked at your hotel and walk or take public transportation. Reliable and clean, riding the U-bahn will make you wonder why our DC Metro system isn't the same. If it is your first time in Germany, Munich should be a priority.
