Q: How has BMW CCA's presence at HVH been beneficial?
A: Over a year, there could be as many as 40 clubs in attendance at Hunt
Valley Horsepower. Clubs that are big and small and everywhere in between.
Clubs that are based out of local colleges and clubs that are based out of our
region's counties. BMW CCA's presence at the Hunt Valley Horsepower
gatherings - as well as the positive energy and respectful automotive enthusiasm
of the club members - has provided a great example for other clubs
of what the love of a common marque and community can accomplish.
People from all walks of life. BMWs of all generations. It's a special
amalgamation. Hunt Valley Horsepower is all about bringing forward a
family atmosphere around respectful automotive enthusiasm. All marques
and all generations of vehicles and people of all backgrounds and generations
are welcome. We can all be proper stewards. Let's pay our respectful
automotive enthusiasm forward. BMW CCA provides a great example for
the younger generations of enthusiasts. BMW CCA is helping lead that
charge of paying it forward.
Q: How did you become involved with BMW CCA?
A: When I was shopping for a car back in 2009, the BMW 335i XDrive M

than about the car. It was the BMW dealership experience (at BMW of
Towson) and what I discovered about the BMW CCA that had me leaning
towards BMW. There was a point where I was so impressed by the structure
and activity of BMW CCA that I joined the club even before I was fully settled
on which car to buy. Far above the other enthusiast community structures,
BMW CCA stood out. Thankfully, BMW of Towson found a 2009 335i
X Drive M Sport in Alpine White that was in transit to a dealership in
Connecticut. A dealership inventory swap was made and the car was
purchased. Nearly nine years ago to the day of this writing - on 9.12.2014 -
the car was paid off. Through 14 years of ownership, and being alongside
my brothers and sisters of the BMW CCA has made that ownership
experience that much more special. If you choose to accept the mission, a
family really does come along with the purchase of a BMW and that family
is the BMW CCA.
Q: How did HVH start?
A: Back in 2011, I was working locally in the employee healthcare world for
a well-known medical tech company. In November, 2011, I sustained a back
injury. While I continued to march into work during the week, I used the
weekends to rest and research. One sector of research became personal.
While I had a ton of car friends, most were from out of the area. That led to
