Nathan Adelson Hospice Receives
$1 Million Gift
Newtown KIDOs Honored for Their
Fundraising Support
Nathan Adelson Hospice
(Las Vegas, NV) has
received $1 million from
the Elaine P. Wynn Family Foundation to expand its
hospital-based palliative care services.
At the annual meeting of Regional Hospice and
Home Care (Danbury, CT), Paul L. Sirois, the
newly appointed executive director of the Regional
Hospice Foundation, recognized seven Newtown
Middle School eighth graders for their exceptional
fundraising support.
The substantial donation will help provide an
additional 1,200 hospital-based consultations as well
as services to 175 patients in their homes and 75
people on an inpatient treatment basis.
Elaine Wynn said her foundation is proud to support
Nevada's largest non-profit hospice, noting that the
past few years have represented unprecedented
challenges in the community, but despite this,
Nathan Adelson Hospice has been able to manage
the escalating needs.
Marcia 'Toni' Norman Named Chapters
Health COO
Chapters Health System
(Tampa, FL) has named
Marcia "Toni" Norman
as chief operating officer.
Norman, a certified
hospice nurse, comes
to Chapters Health with
24 years of hospice
leadership experience,
including 16 years
at Seasons Hospice
(Chicago, IL), where she
served as president/CEO.

The seven students, who make up the Kids In Deed
Organization (KIDOs), have committed to raising
money for the Healing Hearts Center for Grieving
Children and Families, a program of Regional
Hospice and Home Care.
The students have pledged to raise $50,000 to pay for
the playground equipment that will be placed outside
the wing that houses Healing Hearts Center. As of
November, the group had raised nearly $28,000.
