My Automotive Tuning Journey I appreciate the opportunity to talk a little bit about my history with the BMW CCA and my experience with BMW overall. I first became involved with the National Capital Chapter of the BMW CCA in 2015. I purchased my first BMW in 2014 which was an E90 335i in space gray metallic. You could say my first venture into BMW, I came out swinging! The handling and performance of that car were absolutely incredible. Sporting a twinscroll turbo, the N55 engine that was included in my E90 really satisfied a lot of those wants that you desire out of a German engineered vehicle. In my early years involved with the club, I would occasionally go to some socials and show up on tours but nothing on a consistent basis. I first became aware of the club after seeing some of the National May I June Capital Chapter of BMW CCA license plates on cars in the area. I did a bit of research and felt this was definitely something that I could be more involved in. Call it a lifestyle addition to BMW ownership. More recently I've taken a By Devin Moreno more active role by showing up to more social events, helping out by volunteering for tours and many other events that we host in the area. It was difficult at first due to the job that I had at the time, but now that I am older and have a bit more flexibility, I love having the extra time to be passionate about BMW, making some great friends and connections due to my membership in the club.
