2023 MGA WOMEN'S MID-AMATEUR
CHAMPIONSHIP
A chip-in for birdie on the third playoff hole earned Jasi
Acharya of Interlachen Country Club her fifth consecutive
victory at the 2023 MGA Women's Mid-Amateur
Championship Aug. 30 at Island View GC. Acharya and
Taylor Ledwein, who tied in regulation at even-par 144,
went three extra holes before the timely birdie sealed
the win for Acharya. She now lays claim to the same
number of back-to-back championships in this event as
Minnesota Golf Hall of Famer Leigh Klasse.
