of Trollstigen on RV63. A popular port
for cruise ships and historically signifi -
cant as an escape route for the royal
family in World War II, Åndalsnes was
utterly demolished by German bombs
and, despite its natural beauty, is often
eclipsed by the imposing nearby mountains
and the popular Trollstigen.
