Travel < enevieve Gorder traveled to Norway last summer to find her roots. At the same time, the host of HGTV's " Design Star " and " Dear Genevieve " was looking for fresh inspiration for her work, particularly for a new line of textiles coming out later this year. Traveling with her production crew, Genevieve found her family and plenty of visual inspiration, from rosemaling and antiques to the landscape itself. Viking recently caught up with Genevieve to learn more about her experience in Norway and how it continues to influence her work today.
