First, Betty and I traveled to Norway last fall for the 2011 Presidential Tour, which brought together nearly 30 members, many of whom had never been to Norway. It was an amazing time, thanks in large part to the members on the trip and to Linda McCormick from Borton Overseas for her excellent tour planning. There was great emotion as we experienced the country of our ancestors, which you can read more about in this month's Member Matters section. There also was excitement as T we shared our common culture and discovered our heritage. What struck me the most was how being with a group of Sons of Norway members made all the experiences more enjoyable. Upon our return home, I went to California to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Peer Gynt 6-022. I really enjoy attending centennialH 6C9:GHDC
