As I've said in the past, one of the greatest
privileges of serving as your CEO is being
able to share the accomplishments of Sons of
Norway, its members and lodges with others.
It's thanks to your hard work and dedication to
the organization that we are able to say Sons of
Norway makes a difference in hundreds of communities
throughout North America and Norway.
We all should be proud of the accomplishments
and progress made in 2011.
That being said, now is not the time to rest on our
laurels. There is still much work to be done and a
lot more that we can accomplish in the future by
working together for a brighter tomorrow.
In the coming months the International Board
and I will be sharing important information with
you in various forums, including my Executive
Ideas column and presentations at the District
and International Conventions. Some of them
you may have heard already, like the importance
of good corporate governance and the importance
of participating in our insurance programs, while
others will be new, which I can't wait to share with
you over the summer and into the fall.
