The farm-raised athlete is known in cross-country ski circles as the Iron Lady, and it's no wonder why. Bjørgen, the most successful World Cup cross-country sprinter to date with 24 wins, also currently tops the leader board for all-time World Cup cross-country skiing rankings with 62 individual victories. In addition, Bjørgen is a 12-time World Champion and has claimed seven Olympic medals. She also won the most medals in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver after garnering five medals, three of them gold.
