Norwegian Coffee Brand Comes to America
Evergood Kaffee was fi rst launched in 1954 and primarily sold in Oslo.
In the 1960s, Evergood expanded their distribution of beans to all parts
of Norway, and today it's the best-selling premium coffee brand in
Norwegian stores. The beans originate from a large variety of regions,
including Brazil, Columbia, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Kenya.
Evergood was a hit at Norsk Høstfest in 2018, where it

EXPLORING EMIGRATION
More than 1 million people emigrated
from Norway to other countries
between 1825 and 2000. The
Norwegian Emigrant Museum in
Ottestad houses one of the country's
largest collections dedicated to
these individuals' journeys and their
steadfast connections to home.
Recently, the museum took on the role of secretariat and coordinator
for the bicentennial of the Norwegian emigration to the U.S. in 2025,
continuing its commitment to preserving a rich history.
Visitors can explore the open-air museum's series of historical
structures from the turn of the 20th century. Three family homes, a
corncrib, church and school are among the buildings preserved. The
Ingrid Semmingsen Research library houses nearly 20,000 books and
pamphlets, as well as sound recordings and newspaper clippings.
During the summer, daily guided tours are available, as well as special
