NEWS, TRENDS AND INSPIRATION Nordic Life MAKING HISTORY At age 27, Kamzy Gunaratnam became Oslo's youngest Deputy Mayor. The Sri Lanka native moved to Norway with her family at age three and began representing the Labour Party as a teenager. Now, at age 33, Kamzy has entered her seventh year as the city's leader and advocates for community, democracy and transparency. When she's not busy in meetings, Kamzy can be found engaging with the citizens of Oslo, whether that be by visiting senior centers, holding workshops at middle schools or getting opinions from those she serves.
