KING'S PJOLTER A pjolter is usually made with whiskey and sometimes a good cognac. Don't forget to toast to the King's health. Serves 2 WINTER SPICE NEGRONI The longer it sits, the better it is. Serves 2 3 cl (1 ounce) gin 6 cl (2 ounces) red vermouth 1 star anise 10 cloves 1 cinnamon stick 6 cl (2 ounces) Campari 6 cl (2 ounces) whiskey 2 cl (⅔ ounce) cognac 2 Tbsp. honey 2 Tbsp. lemon juice Pinch of cinnamon Pinch of ginger 2 cups of boiling water Fresh cranberries for serving 1. Place whiskey, honey, lemon, cardamom and ginger in glasses. 2. Pour over boiling water and let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes. 3. Stir well. Serve with cranberries. This is a seasonal and spicy take on a classic Negroni. For serving: Ice Fresh thyme Star anise 1. Place all ingredients in a pitcher and cover with plastic. 2. Leave it out for 4 hours. 3.
