STUDENTS AS CUSTOMERS All participants were asked to reply which offerings were most important to them and rank them in order of importance Students see the most value in being provided with a dining calculator or budget application that allows them to track their spending and account balance. They also see value in the ability to pay with a mobile app instead of their student dining card and would value seeing personalized, targeted marketing through the school dining app. They are least concerned with communal screens in the dining establishment. 29
