insurance (5.98) and dental insurance (5.97) scoring the highest.
Tuition benefits (6.27), paid training and development (6.40), and
free or discounted meals (6.62) are highly valued, indicating a
strong preference for benefits that enhance skills and well-being.
Paid vacation days received the lowest importance rating at (5.40),
yet still indicative of a positive valuation.
The data indicate that health insurance is rated as the most
valued benefit by university or college foodservice employees,
with a mean importance score of 2.67, suggesting it is the top
priority. Paid sick days follow with a score of 3.50, indicating
they are also highly prioritized. Vision insurance and a Health
Savings Account (HSA) are less prioritized, with scores of 4.64
and 5.39, respectively.

Responses from university or college foodservice employees
regarding their pay: The idea that their wage is at or above the living
wage in their area had the lowest mean score of 3.39, suggesting
respondents somewhat disagreed with this statement. The statement
about the fairness of current base pay had a mean score of 4.67,

Respondents felt it was fairly important to receive an annual cost of
