3. What will the environmental
impact be?
As the global population expands, we
will require more energy output to
nourish people which will invariably
place more strain on our food systems
and the earth. What small and easy
executable steps can everyone make
daily that when combined will have
a profound impact on reducing
greenhouse gas emissions?
4. What new technologies will
emerge in the Food-Ag space?
Opportunities to leverage big data with
artificial intelligence are emerging in the
wellness space. Peqish's team of health
experts have developed a proprietary
technological platform, called NAOHI
that scores the healthiness index of
food to help consumers make healthier
food choices. Strategies to nutrify
food naturally together with cellular
agricultural techniques may also
reduce our dependence on traditional
farming practices.
5. Will we be able to thrive
as a species?
We need to progressively optimize the
ways in which we do things to create a
more sustainable future. Optimization
will require deep thinking and
regular assessment.
In conclusion, we all have an important role
to play in building a better future. It can start
with the food choices that we make available
at our institutions.
