Like other shops around the world, Grettir
Vatnskassar has its challenges. " Today,
there are no other cooling system shops
in Iceland, " said Margrét. " I would say it
is hard sometimes to fi nd parts. Icelandic
people need to have everything right
away, so we need to have a lot in stock
and need to be able to get parts soon that
do not cost too much. "
What's next for Grettir Vatnskassar? " We
will continue importing more fi ller necks
and fuel tanks, " said Margrét. " And the
radiator stock will continue getting bigger.
We are thinking of also getting more into
importing some coils. "
When asked about what she loves most
about the radiator industry, Margrét says
it comes down to learning new things,
and her passion hasn't dimmed over the
years. " There is something about it, like
you can never get enough. I still speak
about it at home and work like I just
started yesterday. Maybe, it's because
you are always getting new jobs, and they
aren't always the same. But I do not get
bored. "
