EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE
Sandy and I prepare to retire for the third
time, it is prudent to thank the Board of
Directors, officers and NARSA staff for all
their help during the 5 years we have been
managing NARSA.
The goal when we took over managing
NARSA was to leave it in better condition
than when we started out. Along with
the board and staff, I think we have been
able to accomplish this goal. Sandy and I
wish the board and staff the very best in
the future.
It is time for the torch to be passed down
to the future Executive Director Nathan
Ingrao. Even though the new Executive
Director has not been part of the NARSA
staff for very long, he was hired for the
purpose of replacing me. Nathan will
start his new role as your new Executive
Director effective January 1, 2025.
We have spent the last few months
training Nathan in the financial and
operating systems of NARSA. Along with
Linda Skoglund and Roland Ewert, Nathan
will have a great team to be able to
continue the successes of the association.
The great thing about having new people
is getting new ideas. This is an exciting
time for NARSA as youth and newness
will provide a catalyst for new ideas which
will improve the association. Sandy and I
have no doubt the staff of NARSA will be
successful in implementing the wishes of
the board of directors.
If there is one message I could get
through to all those in the cooling system
and emissions business, it would be
to let them know participation in the
association can lead to unbelievable
success. I can testify to the power of
ideas, opportunities and connections.
Participation in NARSA was life-changing
for me and my two friends.
Thank you to all of the NARSA/ IDEA
members who have been part of the
association. Without you, the members,
there would not be an association and it is
only because of you we exist. Thank you
again for your support in the past, present
and future.
