PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Thankfully, the footsteps I followed behind
as president made my job easy, as the last
three to hold the seat were responsible for
some impressive feats that have allowed
NARSA to grow. Launching the international
tour, implementing EOS as a management
platform to execute meetings and duties,
and cultivating our relationship with AAPEX
are all accomplishments left in my lap by
former presidents such as Aaron Morrow,
Bobby Duran, and now Executive Director,
Mark Taylor. The momentum created by
these leaders left me with a rolling ball
of ideas, personnel, and direction, along
with one of the most capable boards in
the history of our organization. I hope to
keep this momentum going as I pass this
position on to one of the most strategic
and dedicated people within our industry,
Corey Roppel. Much like me, Corey comes
from a radiator family that has supported
our association since its inception. His
company, Roppel Industries, is one of the
frontrunners in our industry for innovation,
repair capabilities and marketing. Since his
introduction to the Board in 2018, Corey
has been a vocal presence in our growth, as
well as a key decision maker in our efforts
to grow the International and Emissions
sections of our association. I leave the
presidential gavel in his very capable hands
to follow our oath, to lead by example,
and to be a testament to what dedicated
contribution in our association looks like.
The history of our association is something
each of our members should be proud
of, from our original swearing of officers,
tension-filled board meetings, and
grand showcases exhibiting what our
great industry has to offer. Many of our
associations' greatest minds and influencers
have held up their right hand to recite
the oath to begin their term of office, and
all of those have left our association in a
better place because of their service. It is
events like AAPEX and our Membership
Appreciation Reception that let NARSA
shine, and I am very thankful that I have
been blessed to be a part of the last dozen.
I would like to thank the men and women
of the board who have dedicated their
time and efforts towards the betterment
of this association, as well as my family
that has encouraged me to pursue this
great journey. It has been a great privilege
to follow behind my grandfather and
father's footsteps in serving as president
of this association-raising our right hands
and swearing the same oath across three
generations.
Finally, I want to extend my deepest
gratitude to each and every member for
their unwavering support, dedication, and
hard work over my last 2 years as president.
Thank you for the privilege of leading, and
for the trust and camaraderie that have
made this journey so memorable. I leave
this association in very capable hands and
I look forward to seeing what the future
holds for all of us.
