NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS
Bryan Braswell
Rocky Mount Radiator & A/C VP
Rocky Mount, North Carolina
The biggest
business success
during 2024
was our annual
Christmas party.
We've been
hosting our
Christmas party
at the same venue
for the last few
years and this
year we were
able to expand
our celebration
to include great Christmas games and a night full of fun
and laughter. We were able to reflect on the year and
acknowledge the hard work of the people who helped us get
to where we are.
My favorite NARSA event was the HD conference in
Chicago. DRC rolled out the red carpet to showcase the
operations behind a great manufacturing company.
Our company's biggest business goal in 2025 is to provide
exceptional customer service at every turn. It's easy to
get in the same routine and get lazy with taking care
of customers, so we are doubling down on this year's
theme to provide unrelenting customer service from open
till close.
In lieu of our new President, I am also looking forward to
seeing Duke beat Kentucky in the Men's NCAA basketball
tournament this March! And much like my good friend Bob
Carlo, I've picked up the hobby of pizza making! I've started
making my own dough, firing up a wood fired oven, and
sorting through the finest basil to create the finest pizza in
the neighborhood!
Corey Roppel
Roppel Industries President
NARSA/IDEA President
Louisville, Kentucky
This isn't a business success, it is a life
success, but my grandfather (founder of
Roppel Radiator) celebrated a milestone
birthday turning 100 in 2024. It was
amazing to see the support from so many
and to see how respected he is, people
told stories that I have never heard before.
It was really amazing to be able to spend
this with him and for my kids to be able to
as well.
My favorite event this year was AAPEX, to
me it seemed like there were more people
there then the last few years. I got to spend
time with some great friends, suppliers, and
Thomas Hart
Don Hart's Radiator COO
Waller, Texas
This was our first full year
manufacturing our own radiator
cores. We experienced almost
every high and low imaginable
with bringing this under our roof.
Ironing out the production process
from quoting to building and
keeping it consistent was a major
undertaking. I would have thought this to be simple and almost " common
sense, " but that was not the case. It feels simple now, only because of
our ability to break it down step by step and get everyone involved in
understanding when one measurement is wrong, the whole product is
wrong. Our crew takes pride in their product, and it shows by the quality
we're supplying our service technicians. The old saying " measure twice and
cut once " really applies to each core built.
Our 2024 Spring Conference in Chicago was absolutely amazing. The sight
of everyone forgetting about lunch at AMADA and going straight to look
over the showroom floor and stare in awe at the machinery shows how
impressive the facility and tour are. Amada, paired with an exceptional
tour through the DRC Heat Transfer manufacturing facilities made this
conference one of the best I've attended.
Every year, we aim to do better than the previous year, whether that's
more sales, gaining more customers, or saving money, we're always
looking to do something better. For 2025, we're sticking to the plan! DO
BETTER. I want to really make a significant difference in our area with
after-treatment services this year. We've moderately grown this portion of
our business over the years and now is the time to focus and drive it home.
Every year, my family makes it a goal to carve out time for an " All Family
Vacation " which includes my parents (grandparents), my family, and my sisters'
families. This is a time for us all to get away, build memories together and bond.
We are going to keep this going in 2025 and have a trip planned for Costa Rica.
It is a special time for all 12 of us to build the bonds and memories that keep the
core of our family together. Even though we work closely together everyday,
we still need that family bonding time away from work.
customers. It was also a great event for me
personally, because I got the honor of being
elected president of an organization that
has been monumental to our company's
success. It was also great to have Bryan
Braswell be able to pass the torch to me, he
is a legend and will be hard to follow.
We are expecting 2025 to be a great year.
We have some industry first things we will
be offering in the 1st quarter, and we are
very excited for this. With the changes at
the White House, we feel this will bring
much needed change and opportunity for
us to take advantage of. I am also excited
to be stepping in as NARSA President and
working closely with the new Executive
Director, Nathan Ingrao. I have already seen
his excitement and eagerness and know he
will be great for the organization.
