A Day to Remember ISTAT hosts children and families of Robert-Debre' Children's Hospital at Paris Air Show Chalet T To celebrate the closure of the 2015 International Paris Air Show at Le Bourget, ISTAT welcomed 18 children from the Robert-Debre' Children's Hospital to an exclusive experience at the ISTAT Chalet on Sunday, 21 June. ISTAT volunteers and leadership worked diligently behind the scenes to arrange visits with special guests and add even more excitement for the children and their families. The day began as ISTAT staff escorted children and family members from the main gate to the Chalet on a special train. Upon arrival, each special guest received a gift bag containing items donated by ISTAT members. The kids bloomed with excitement as they put on their aviation caps, lanyards and aircraft pins. Many of the children put together model planes donated by our manufacturers as they anxiously awaited the start of the air show. In addition to the exclusive views of the air displays, the children were surprised with visits from American and French military air crews who were attentive to the children and patiently answered all their questions. The A380 crew also stopped by the Chalet for a meet-and-greet session immediately following their fantastic performance in the air. It was truly a memorable event for the children, family and volunteers who were treated to first-class exposure of the air show. 12 The official publication of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading
