Airlink Chosen as Philanthropy Partner for
CAPA - Centre For Aviation
To help raise awareness of its support in delivering of humanitarian aid throughout
the world with key potential airline partners, Airlink is pleased to have been selected
as the charity partner of CAPA - Centre for Aviation. As such, Airlink will be making
its debut as the charity partner for the CAPA LCCs & New Age Airlines in North Asia
2013 and select CAPA conferences. In addition, both Airlink and CAPA will crosspromote the partnership through their marketing vehicles, including mention in each
other's website, e-newsletters, social media posts and more.

Among the attractions at the recent 2013 edition of Boeing's long-running Appraisers
Forum was the chance for participants to survey a vehicle well outside their usual
realm-the trainer for the U.S. Space Shuttle program. The approximately 50 attendees, who included many of ISTAT's certiﬁed appraisers and several current and former
ISTAT Board members, are seen here with the historic non-ﬂying NASA asset in the
background. The trainer is now part of the collection of Seattle's Museum of Flight.
This year's two-day Appraiser Forum included brieﬁngs on the company's new and
existing airplane products. The audience asked tough questions of its Boeing hosts,
who included current ISTAT past president and 737 MAX program VP Joe Ozimek
and Boeing's head of new airplane development, Scott Fancher. Attendees also
toured Boeing's massive Everett, Wash., factory where the company's newest 787
Dreamliner family member, the 787-9, was being prepped for its ﬁrst ﬂight, made

George Bouvet, retired from Boeing and Babcock & Brown and an original member of
the ISTAT Board, has published an ebook on Amazon, Big George and the 747 plus a
free Jokes, by George ebook. Big George and the 747 is an account of Bouvet's life and
working career marketing, selling and leasing commercial jet aircraft from 1963 to 2001.
